MEDIA ADVISORY: Digital Watermarking Alliance Hosts Nov. 15 Event in Los Angeles to Focus on Enabling Digital Media Commerce in 2008 and Beyond

WHAT:

The Digital Watermarking Alliance is co-hosting an event with the House Congressional Entertainment Industries Caucus (CEIC) to further raise awareness of the commercial benefits of digital watermarking. The symposium, called “Digital Watermarking: Enabling Digital Media Commerce in 2008 and Beyond,” will bring together industry leaders and influencers to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with distributing digital content. At the end of the symposium, interactive demonstrations and exhibits highlighting DWA members’ technologies will be available for viewing.

Digital Watermarking Alliance Expands to 20 Members

The Digital Watermarking Alliance has added three new members: AquaMobile, The Nielsen Company and Academic Member Université catholique de Louvain

Los Angeles, Calif., Nov. 12, 2007 — The Digital Watermarking Alliance (DWA), an international group of industry leading organizations involved in commercializing digital watermarking solutions, today announced the addition of three new member organizations and that the DWA has grown its membership over 65 percent since it was founded 15 months ago. The Alliance now has a total of 20 members.

The new member companies are: AquaMobile (Spain), The Nielsen Company (U.S.), and academic member Université catholique de Louvain, Laboratoire de Telecommunications (Belgium).
