Digital Watermarking Alliance Expands to 20 Members
The Digital Watermarking Alliance has added three new members: AquaMobile, The Nielsen Company and Academic Member Université catholique de Louvain
Los Angeles, Calif., Nov. 12, 2007 — The Digital Watermarking Alliance (DWA), an international group of industry leading organizations involved in commercializing digital watermarking solutions, today announced the addition of three new member organizations and that the DWA has grown its membership over 65 percent since it was founded 15 months ago. The Alliance now has a total of 20 members.
The new member companies are: AquaMobile (Spain), The Nielsen Company (U.S.), and academic member Université catholique de Louvain, Laboratoire de Telecommunications (Belgium).
“The Digital Watermarking Alliance continues to thrive as we add exciting new members who serve the commercial and government markets with proven digital watermarking applications, products, and research,” said John Utley, vice chairman of the DWA. “We are pleased to include these organizations in our efforts to create awareness for the value of digital watermarking. AquaMobile and The Nielsen Company are commercializing and deploying watermarking based solutions, while the Université catholique de Louvain, as an Academic member, is furthering the science of digital watermarking and paving the way for innovations to come.”
